1. What we collect
When you use BetterTicket we may collect and process:
- Discord data – When you log in to the dashboard we receive from Discord your user ID, username, avatar, and the list of servers you can manage (server ID, name, icon). We use this to show your servers and to enforce dashboard and admin access.
- Ticket and panel data – Panel names, embed content, form fields, ticket channel messages (for transcripts), receipt data, and related configuration you set in the dashboard. This is stored to run the Bot and to send transcripts.
- Subscription data – Guild ID, expiry date, plan name, and (if used) Stripe or Paddle customer ID and payment metadata, for subscription and webhook processing.
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, and similar data that your browser or hosting sends when you use the website or dashboard.
2. How we use it
We use the data to:
- Provide and operate the Bot and dashboard
- Authenticate you and enforce admin or server access
- Store panel and ticket settings and generate transcripts
- Process subscriptions and payment webhooks
- Improve the service and fix issues
- Comply with law and protect our rights
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share data with:
- Discord – As required to operate the Bot and OAuth
- Payment providers – e.g. Stripe, Paddle, for subscription and webhook processing
- Hosting and infrastructure – To run the website and Bot
Transcripts are sent to the channels and users you configure (e.g. transcript channel, ticket opener DMs).
4. Retention
We retain dashboard and panel data for as long as your server uses the Bot. Subscription and payment-related data may be kept longer for legal and accounting reasons. You can request deletion of your data by contacting support.
5. Security
We use reasonable measures (e.g. HTTPS, secure sessions, restricted access) to protect your data. No system is completely secure; you use the service at your own risk.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to or restrict processing. Contact us via the Support page to exercise these rights.

8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated policy on this page and indicate the last updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
