This page covers everything about BetterTicket Premium subscriptions — plans, pricing, how to redeem a key, and what happens when a subscription ends.

How the Lifetime Plan Works
The Lifetime plan is a single one-time payment that grants permanent Premium access to one server. There is no expiry date and no renewal — once activated, it stays active indefinitely as long as the server exists.

This is an admin-issued plan that covers every server associated with your account. It is not available for self-purchase. Contact our team if you're interested.
Keys
BetterTicket Premium is activated using a key — a short code you redeem to apply a subscription to a server.
Key Format
Keys follow this format: two 6-character segments separated by a dash.

| Standard key | Single-use. Redeems the plan (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime) it was generated for. |
| Trial key | Provides 3 days of full Premium access. Great for testing before committing to a plan. |
| Custom duration key | Admin-created key with a specific duration (e.g. 7 days, 30 days). Issued for promotions or special cases. |
| Multi-use key | A key with a configured max_uses that can be redeemed by multiple servers. Contact our team for this type. |
Note: A key can have its own expiry date (the date by which it must be redeemed) that is separate from the subscription duration. For example, a Monthly key might expire in 30 days if not redeemed — but once redeemed, the subscription runs for one month from the redemption date.
Redeeming a Key
You can redeem a key from three places:
- The Pricing page on the BetterTicket website
- The Billing page in your account settings
- The Premium tab inside the dashboard for your server
Step-by-Step Redemption
- 1Make sure you're logged in to BetterTicket with the Discord account that manages your server.
- 2Navigate to one of the three redemption locations listed above.
- 3Find the Redeem Key input field and enter your key (e.g.
ABCDEF-GH3KL2). - 4If the key is server-specific, select which server you want to apply it to from the dropdown.
- 5Click Redeem and confirm. Your server's Premium status will be activated immediately.
Tip: Account-wide keys (Lifetime — All Servers) do not require you to select a server — they apply automatically to your entire account.
What Happens When a Subscription Expires
When your Premium subscription ends (either through cancellation, non-renewal, or a key expiring), your server gracefully falls back to the free tier. This means:
- No lock-out — the bot continues to work normally on free features.
- Premium-only features (claiming, thread-style, AI, etc.) will stop functioning for new tickets.
- Existing tickets and data are not deleted.
- Your configuration is preserved — if you reactivate Premium, everything picks up where it left off.
Note: If you had Thread-Style panels active, tickets can no longer be created from those panels after Premium expires. Existing open threads are not affected.
Managing Your Subscription
To update your payment method, switch between Monthly and Yearly, or cancel your subscription:
- 1Go to the Premium tab for your server in the dashboard.
- 2Click the Manage button. You'll be redirected to the billing portal.
- 3From the billing portal you can update your payment details, change your plan, or cancel.
Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription does not end it immediately. When you cancel, your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, the server falls back to the free tier.
You will not receive a refund for unused time when cancelling a monthly or yearly plan. Lifetime plans cannot be cancelled or refunded.
